1、 什么是cover letter？

答：投稿信。投稿信是当您在向期刊投稿时一并写给期刊编辑部的信。

2、cover letter的内容主要包括那些？

答：应该简述所投稿件的核心内容、主要发现和意义，拟投期刊，对稿件处理有无特殊要求等（如“not to review” list）。另外，请附上所有作者的姓名，通联作者的姓名、通讯地址、电话、传真和e-mail地址。此外有的杂志要求推荐几位审稿人及其联系方式。以及谁已经阅读过该文（当然是牛人）。有的杂志要求作者在投稿信中同时声明你没有一搞多投，如果是临床实验的文章要求写明符合伦理学要求等。

3、 如何写cover letter？

答：各个杂志的具体要求是不一样的，在杂志的guide for authors一般会有要求。如果没有具体的要求，大家可按照通用要求处理。

（1）投稿信简洁版1：声明没有一搞多投，并符合伦理学要求

（2）投稿信简洁版2：简述所投稿件的核心内容、主要发现和意义

（3）希望在投稿信中提供更详细的内容：其中包括希望投的期刊名称；文题；随信附上文章一段式摘要；作者通联方式；声明未一稿多投；推荐审稿人；陈述稿件已按期刊格式要求做过相应修改；最后表达希望能在贵刊发表；附件：稿件
